Richi`s Diner in Surprise

We both had the fish and fries. Fish very tasty but a tad greasy. Server was very good.

The food was good but my hash browns were bernt.

For me, breakfast is nice and hearty. Richi's was the place to go. Yesterday, my husband left hungry. He ordered the skillet omelet. It used to fill up and over the skillet. Not this time. We ordered biscuits and gravy. They were very small biscuits. We ordered two more orders. We were very dissatisfied.

Prompt service, friendly staff. The variety of food that we ordered was delicious. Great place to have a family meal.

Food is looks and tastea homemade and service is good. Only real knock is that they serve everything with margarine and not butter that would have changed my rating to 5*

First time eating here and will not be my last. The service is excellent and attentive. The food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend when on Surprise to stop at Richi's Diner for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

No mask wearing when I got there. Ordered take out. Food is best for breakfast, but a welcome break from cooking.

Food was great, service was even better. I highly recommend this family owned restaurant.

Out and about away from home and hungry. The kids wanted Denny's and found this place. What a find! The service was great, staff friendly and courteous. Not to mention the food! No complaints what so ever. The biggest hit were the Mickey Mouse pancakes. Anything Disney is a hit, especially when it is good! Definitely returning next time in the area.

Stopped in for breakfast and dinner. The food was great and surprisingly inexpensive. Waitstaff did a great job. Even got a big thank you from the owner.

Nice clean friendly place with a good selection on the menu. All 3 of us enjoyed our food. We are coming back!

I hardly ever leave reviews, but if this can serve as a warning then that'll have made it worthwhile. Absolutely one of the first restaurants I've been to that completely deserves to be on Kitchen Nightmares. Had a bacon burger and was thoroughly impressed at how big of a disaster that could be. Patty was so tasteless you could taste the dirty griddle, had a distinct cheap frozen taste even McDonald's has managed to overcome. Under ripened tomatoes, wilted lettuce, massively thick cut onions, and what I can only imagine is microwave bacon top this tower of disappointment. French fries, how can you ruin French fries? They had absolutely no taste of potatoes but rather dirty oil and fried fish, and to really set in that flavor I'd bet they were flash fried hours prior and tossed back in the science experiment fryer. Save your time and money, go to tailgaters or Booty's. I'll be happy if I can learn from this experience without food poisoning.....

I had not visited with my friend in a long time. I decided to come to this place in the old Babbos. It was great. I ordered the number 14. Pork chops and eggs for breakfast. Mmmm it was like but ole bacon. Delicious

Well.... where do I start. During our stay we had a waiter that kept talking to us. I'm a friendly person but his constantly coming back to our table was getting annoying. During our wait for food we saw a cockroach walk across the floor. The waiter was told and then he proceeded to let us know he released it to the outside. At this point we almost left but instead we stayed. Our coleslaw was delivered to the table in small cups with large spoons 10 minutes before the rest of our food came out. I understand that salads come out first but when you order fish and chips you kinda expect the slaw to be with the meal. From there our dinners finally came out. Surprisingly the food was good. Fish and chips were good... fries slightly undercooked. My chopped sirloin was good. So the experience was undesirable but the food was redeeming. If we hadn't seen the cockroach it would have been a decent meal. We are undecided if we will go back. Again.... thank goodness the food tastes good.

Awesome place. Great food! Great service. I took my construction crew here today for breakfast and we were very please with everything served. Great service by our young German server. The manager greet us on our way in and asked for our experience on our way out.

I suppose you get what you pay for; chicken fried steak was way overdone/very crispy and cold hashbrowns. However, the eggs were good, the sourdough was nothing that special, but the 1 pancake was done to perfection. The service was great. Wife and I left paying a little over $30.

Service was good, and our server gave us to go cups for our coffee when we left. Sadly, we were disappointed in the food. The potatoes were very under-seasoned and not crispy as requested. The corned beef in the hash was the same sliced corned beef they use for sandwiches. The entire dish felt like they tossed it together at the last second rather than making a batch for the day, and none of the flavors melded.

Richi's diner had eggs benedict with a good flare. Because i prefer a lower carb option and no meat, they gave me perfect steamed eggs with a bowl full of hollaindaise! Full of flavor and I got more sauce! I have been to places where they give you very little hollaindaise. Their potatoes were fresh and not greasy. I enjoyed their quality of food here.

We’re from out of town, visiting friends. We always like to eat at places we don’t have back home. This was a nice place. Nice to see the owner is not above helping his staff. They were all very friendly. The food was good and reasonably priced.

Fish fry on Friday is great deal and very tasty. The staff are friendly and fun. We've been going here since they opened.

First time going to Richi's... I got the Vegetarian skillet, comes with toast (avocado was extra). It was delicious, so flavorful and big portion! I brought half home. Kids got the French toast, they have never eaten breakfast so fast. Husband got biscuits & gravy and corn beef & hash. He claims it was pretty good, biscuits were a little small. They do offer a military discount, always a nice touch. 😊 We had a few extras, like bacon, avocado and OJ's for the kids, and subtotal was about $40... the add-ons are a little pricey, but total was pretty much what you'd pay at chain restaurants. Very friendly staff!!! Will be going back in the future! 👍👍*Huge plus- I heard they do breakfast ALL DAY!
